NOHPG Study Day 2024 – programme and E-CPD booklet now available!

Please note the registration for this event CLOSED on the 11th of October 2024 at 4pm, those who register after this time will go on a wait list.  This years NOHPG study day is to be held on the 13th of November in Birmingham.  The programme is looking good with some excellent speakers, presenting on important topics pertinent to oral health improvement. NOHPG Election Manifesto is launched!

Oral Health Improvement must remain a priority in the pending election The National Oral Health Promotion Group supports the oral health improvement workforce to improve oral health across the country. As the 2024 election approaches, we ask that the future government carefully considers our manifesto which has a strong focus on vulnerable groups, reducing inequalities in oral health and delivery of targeted evidence based oral health improvement programmes to improve overall health. Chair Announces Name Change

It is with much sadness that we announce the sad loss of a former committee member Emma Raper. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at such a sad time. With the agreement of Emma herself, her family the committee the Chair Fiona Ellwood announced that the Patrons Prize will from 2019 be re-named as the Emma Raper Award in her memory – a fitting tribute to her work, passion and drive for oral health.

  INVITATION TO PRESENT A POSTER National Oral Health Promotion Group Patron’s Poster Prize NOHPG members, please consider entering your work for the 2018 Patron’s Poster Prize. The posters should describe the authors and/or their teams work for oral health improvement. It should include the evidence base underpinning your work and specifically oral health messages from Delivering Better Oral Health. It should be received by the chair of the group by the 25th May 2018for consideration for this year’s prize which will be presented at the annual study day on the 22nd of June in London.
