Welcome to the National Oral Health Promotion Group (NOHPG) website – The website is currently being updated (September 2024).

The NOHPG (formerly called National Dental Health Education Group) was established in 1981.

The group provides a forum for all professionals interested in the promotion of oral health.

OUR VISION STATEMENT
The National Oral Health Promotion Group is dedicated to uniting and supporting oral health practitioners to work with communities, families, individuals and the most vulnerable in society to reduce the burden and risk of oral health diseases across the life-course.
OUR MISSION
Provide oral health support to those who need it the most in our communities, on a national basis.
OUR IMPACT
To understand more about what constitutes oral health wellness, the impact of societal challenges and the choices that these challenges bring for communities.

Our annual study days are extremely well attended by those in the dental profession as they offer a wealth of motivational speakers and the opportunity to network and share good practice.
